Thur 8 August 2019, Sale Ten Harriers made the trip over to Manchester for the final 5k in the club’s road championship, the competitive and popular Sale Sizzler. Held at Wythenshawe Park in Manchester it is a PB course, being flat and apart from a couple of 90 degree turns has good straights on mostly tarmac paths. Wed 14 August 2019, Chorley The Chorley inter club race took place on a damp, still evening with a shower of rain to cool down the runners as they tackled the two long climbs up Southport Road. Wed 24 July 2019, Parbold Three Preston Harriers travelled south on a warm summer evening to tackle the third Harrock Hill fell race of the year. The 5.3 miles with 900 foot climb race is run over the tracks and fields of Harrock and Parbold with virtually no road – under FRA rules.
