10 Peaks Challenge Update
At the halfway stage of the challenge over 50 members have now started the challenge, with 15 having completed all 10 peaks and 35 having done 5 or more and qualifying for the t-shirt shown above. Roy Parkinson (twice), Oli Heaton and Steve Taylor are the only 3 members to complete ’10 in a Day’. Attempts can be made in any order from any location. 10 Peaks Challenge Leader Board
After only the first full weekend of the challenge 37 members have now started the challenge, with 15 having completed 5 peaks or more. Roy Parkinson was the first to complete ’10 in a Day’ and was followed 3 days later by Oli Heaton. Attempts can be made in any order from any location. 10 Peaks Challenge Smashed

The 10 Peaks Challenge was well and truly smashed by Roy Parkinson over the weekend. He covered the entire distance, 58 miles with 6006 feet of climbing in 21 hours 6 minutes. Setting off from the car park near the Pigeon Tower at the bottom of Rivington Pike, at 1.30pm, he had chosen one of the hottest days of the summer.
