Here's the latest update on our road championships

Thank you to Cathy and Dave Flitcroft for providing this update.

With only 2 Inter Club races and 1 each of the qualifying 5k,10k and 10milers left, it is close running in the leader tables….

Overall Male – Chris Williams leads the way with Steve Hallas hot on his heels. Championship titles are still up for grabs however...will Luke Suffolk or Sam Evans complete the required qualifying events which are left to be in contention?

Overall Female - Cathy Flitcroft leads the way having already completed the minimum number of qualifying events but there is still opportunity for a challenge from other ladies with qualifying events still available.

MV40 - Stuart Nixon is in top place but with Gareth Fairclough, Andy Whaley and Michael Croft still in contention this is going to be a close one.

FV40/50 - Both Julie Tyrer and Cathy Flitcroft look to have already secured their top spot in these age categories with some strong running in the earlier events.

MV50 – Looks like Steve Hallas is likely to come out on top in this category, challenged to the line by David Watson.

MV60 - Alan Metcalfe currently leads the way but don't rule out Kevin Hesketh or Billy Johnstone who are still in the running.

FV60 - Sue Wickham narrowly leads the way with only 2 points more than Marian Hesketh. Could go either way!
