With deepest sadness we announce the death of Preston Harriers Oldest member KEN MACKAY on the 15th July 2018 just 5 days short of his 95th birthday. Ken joined the Club in 1959 when he had started running in his mid 30’s. He ran distance and ultra distance races and became a life member of the club in the 1980’s. Bob Welfare says, “I remember Ken running from his home in Lytham to the track at London Road and doing a few laps and then running back to Lytham.”
