Mawdesley 10k Road Race

Two​ ​Preston​ ​Harriers​ ​made​ ​their​ ​way​ ​to​ ​Mawdesley​ ​for​ ​a​ ​new​ ​10k​ ​race​ ​organised​ ​by​ ​the Mawdesley​ ​Millennium​ ​Trust. The​ ​race​ ​was​ ​run​ ​over​ ​a​ ​very​ ​flat​ ​single​ ​lap​ ​course​ ​along​ ​the​ ​trails, ​ ​fields​ ​and​ ​single​ ​track roads​ ​that​ ​lie​ ​between​ ​the​ ​villages​ ​of​ ​Mawdesley​ ​and​ ​Croston. Phil​ ​Lakeland​ ​led​ ​the​ ​way​ ​for​ ​Harriers​ ​in​ ​57th​ ​position​ ​with​ ​a​ ​time​ ​of​ ​57.38​ ​followed​ ​by​ ​Helen Boyer​ ​who​ ​completed​ ​in​ ​a​ ​time​ ​of​ ​66.31​ ​and​ ​106th​ ​in​ ​a​ ​field​ ​of​ ​130​ ​runners.
