Mid Lancs CC Liverpool & BA Cross Challenge Final Info

Saturday 27th November 2021 The entries have closed for Mid Lancs and the Cross Challenge. Parking is on the perimeter of Sefton Park and any satnav can be set to L17 3AA, although you may have to be further away. Please be aware that this event is always busy and, you should allow plenty of time to park, then walk to the club tent area and collect your numbers and ankle timing chips. Please ensure the ankle chip is secure. They will be collected from you in the finishing area after the funnels.

Please don’t bring your Mid Lancs number. Those who’ve entered through Mid Lancs can collect the numbers from the Club tent, look for the Preston Harriers flag. Those who’ve entered through the Cross Challenge should go to the large marquee for their number. Programmes with course maps are usually available to purchase at the venue.

The race times are different to Mid Lancs. There are two short course senior European trial races taking place first at 10.30 and 10.35 am. The timetable after, is then:- 10.40 Under 11 Boys – 2k 10.50 Under 11 Girls – 2k 11.05 Under 13 Girls – 3k 11.20 Under 13 Boys – 3k 11.35 Under 15 Boys – 3k 11.50 Under 15 Girls – 3k 12.05 U17 Women and World Athletics Junior Women (u20) 4.4k 12.25 Under 17 Men – 5.5k 12.45 World Athletics Junior Men (u20) – 6.7k 1.05 Senior Women (this includes, junior, senior and vet Women at Mid Lancs and Vet 70 Men at Mid Lancs & is the u23 European Trial race) 8 1k 2.05 Senior Men (this includes any junior, senior and vet Men at Mid Lancs and is the u23 European Trial race) 9.8k

On the day Challenge results will probably not show Mid Lancs entries fully. It will take time for the Mid Lancs results to be processed. Sportsoft will produce a Mid Lancs results file which will be refined into individual and league places and including anyone who entered through the Cross Challenge.
