The Northern 12 stage and 6 stage relays are being held in Wythenshawe Park* on Saturday 23rd March and Preston Harriers need to populate their squads. The event has
a 12pm start.
For the gents, the race is 12 stages and comprised of 4 long legs (legs 1,3,5,7) and 8 short legs. This means we need 12 willing and able men to take part and fill the slots.
The women's race requires 6 runners per team, with the event having 2 long legs (legs 1 and 4) and 4 short legs.
The short legs are 4.5k and the longer legs are 8k.
This is a prestigious event in the road racing calendar with clubs from across the North of England all taking part. It's very much a day of team spirit and celebration, and the Preston Harriers' club flag will very much be flying!
We currently have a great squad of men and women who are going from strength to strength and this would be the perfect event to put the Preston Harriers name out there.
