Elsey Whyman-Davis put in what was arguably the club’s performance of the day, when she blew away the women’s field to cross the finish line in a time of 34:56 almost five minutes ahead of the next woman. The race, which is associated with Wigan Council and the Jumpin Jacks charity, saw over 2,000 runners take to the streets and was won by Philip Robertson of Sale Harriers in a time of 30:44. Harriers Chris Williams (41:05) and Vicky Sherrington (52:54) also completed the race.
