Why Volunteer?
Preston Harriers membership isn't just for athletes, our club can't run without a huge amount of volunteers working behind the scenes. From making the tea at track meets through running the social media or coaching the athletes to officiating at track and field events, the volunteering opportunities are endless and can provide you with some valuable skills and experience along the way, as well as contributing to the continued success of the club.
What are the benefits?
The benefits of volunteering have been documented to exhaustion but at Preston Harriers we believe that the emphasis should be on the fact that volunteering is a great deal of fun! Not only do you get to increase your social circle hugely, but you have the opportunity to develop skills that will give you a talking point for decades.
If you're interested in volunteering with Preston Harriers, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Membership secretary. For information on becoming a Track and Field Official, more information is available here. For information on the route to becoming a coach, more information is available here.
