We have some exciting news for you all...
Our wonderful club captains are in the process of finalising the fixtures for 2024's Road Championships and hope to have the full details released on Monday 4th December. Perhaps you could ask Santa for a road race entry or two this year?
Dougie and Cathy would like to thank everyone who took their time to vote in the recent poll regarding the incorporation of a 10 mile race or a half marathon into the Road Club Championships.
As you can see the majority stated no particular preference, followed by 10 mile event. Therefore, we will continue to incorporate a 10 mile race into the Club Championship program.
Thye captains have tried hard to plan the fixtures and specifically tried to avoid clashes with other events in 2024, namely - Cross Country, Road Relays, Lancashire Championship races, Northern Track and Field fixtures and Inter-Club so as you can imagine this hasn't been easy task! The club is super-grateful for the efforts and planning and looks forward to another exciting championship being held in the year ahead.
