MLCC Liverpool Senior Entry Information

Updated: Nov 1, 2023

25th November 2023

The Mid Lancs cross country fixture at Liverpool is included within the British Athletics Cross Challenge series and it is always a wonderful occasion with runners competing from all over the country.

For any senior club members who wish to compete, there is a separate entry system. Runners need to pre-enter, even if you have already registered for the Mid Lancs CC League. Any seniors who wish to run at Liverpool should email stevetaylor015@gmail.com no later than Wed 15th November.

You must be a fully paid-up member of Preston Harriers for this season (from April 2023) and you must have an England Athletics Registration Number for the 2023-24 season. The Cross Challenge series subsidises the league entry fees but the Club still has to pay for each individual entry. Please do not ask to run unless you are sure that you can run.

The race times for Liverpool are different to the other Mid Lancs CC League fixtures. U11B – 10.45am U11G – 10.55am U13G – 11.05am U13B – 11.20am U15B – 11.35am U15G – 11.50am U17Women – 12.05pm (IAAF Jun Women – 12.05pm) U17Men – 12.25pm (IAAF Jun Men – 12.45pm) Sen Women – 1.05pm Sen Men – 2.05pm

Alternatively, entry fee £12 seniors & £10 juniors, individuals can make their own entry to the Liverpool Cross Challenge. If this is done, there is no need to enter through the clubs Mid Lancs League entry list. Exceptional athletes by national standards should also make their own entries directly to the Liverpool Cross Challenge.
