In the international Stirling cross country, Patrick Dever was the best of the British team finishers in 9th, with a time of 24.05 over 8k. He was right up in the leading group midway through the race, and only fell back slightly on the last lap. Dever commented afterwards that he felt that the race has given him a really good base to build on.
