Dear Preston Harrier Athletes,
UCLAN have informed the Preston Harriers Management Committee that the track upgrade will commence on the 9th May 2022 until 2nd September.
This will mean that the track will not be available during this time.
We are aware that a number of athletes have already bought Summer Track Passes. You can still pay £4 on the gate up until the work on the track starts.
We will automatically transfer your Summer Pass to a Winter Pass. If this causes any problems please contact either Maureen or Sarah on the emails below telling them your preference. If no contact is made we will automatically transfer your Summer Pass to a Winter Pass.

This is not an ideal situation but we weren’t aware until last week that this work is taking place. We are actively looking for alternatives and will update you as soon as we know anything.
However; The 400M track will be replaced completely, a new drainage system will be put in around the perimeter. There will be new flood lighting, and ducting for new cable installation.
