Our Development Group is here! Dream big, speedsters...

We are happy to annouce there is a *new* training group now up and running, aimed at senior athletes who are looking to improve their perfomances across distances from 5km to a marathon.

Sessions take place every Tuesday and Thursday evening, with the group meeting at The New Continental @ 6.30pm.

Tuesday's session is interval based with 'short and sharp' efforts to help members improve their fitness and recovery time, whereas Thursday's session is a longer 'steady' run which will help build aerobic endurance and strength. Both sessions will last around an hour, so you can still make it to bed at a reasonable hour!

Coached by an experienced and committed coach, the group offers a supportive and encouraging environment where individual goals can be worked on. Training with others is a great way of improving your own performance as well as mental wellbeing, especially as winter approaches.

If you are a senior member and you have a current 5km time of under 23 minutes which you wish to maintain or improve on, email flitcroftd020@gmail.com to find out more about the upcoming sessions.
