Six Preston Harriers made the trip over to the West Yorkshire village of Meltham for the West Nab Fell Races, featuring races all through the age groups from Under 9 to Seniors.
In the Under 11 Girls race Olivia Wood finished 12th in 14:31. The Links brothers, having just moved up an age group, ran in the Under 15 Boys race, with Adam 28th (24:08) and Matthew 46th (28:59).
There were 108 starters in the Senior race of 8.1K and 520m of ascent, where Alistair Palmer had another excellent race finishing 11th in 42:57. Newcomer Anna Keller, in her first ever race, enjoyed the experience to finish 83rd (1:04:23), followed by Olga Wiggins (FV40) in 96th (1:14:34).
Many thanks to Holmfirth Harriers for putting on the races, which did include some minor course and other changes, in order for the races to comply with current restrictions during the pandemic.
