Harriers on the move to help others

All members of Preston Harriers are invited to participate in an initiative to help the Foxton Centre. We would like you to run, walk or cycle ( or go by car if you must) to 1 of our collection points to drop off your donations and we will ensure they are all taken to the Foxton Centre in Preston. The Foxton Centre have requested that we collect both toiletries (including razors) and underwear, in small adult sizes, for men and women.

The drop off points are all homes of people involved in Harriers and will have a drop off box clearly labelled. Neil, 10 Rosemead Ave, Lostock Hall, PR5 5XN Philippa, 7 Highgate, Penwortham, PR1 0HY Maureen, 49 Freshfields, Lea, PR2 1TJ Sue, 512 Brook Street North, Fulwood, PR2 3QE Anne, 6 Sandsdale Ave, Fulwood, PR2 9AZ

Please drop off your donation between 10th and 24th June, wear your Harriers kit, if you can, and take a photo on route or at the drop off. It would be great to see you in action and we’ll get your snaps on social media. Please send any pictures to our facebook page or philippaw61@gmail.com

THE FOXTON CENTRE From its origins as a youth centre in Avenham in 1969, the Foxton Centre is a proud Preston charity and a strong community anchor … From our community base we work with many people on the margins of city life – rough sleepers, street sex workers, young people in the Avenham district – who often face problems with poverty, addiction, and mental health issues. We can’t manage all this by ourselves – we work closely with a wide range of partners, organisations, volunteers and donors to provide active resources for people and communities in our city. Please talk to us about how you can assist our activities and projects. Email us at info@thefoxtoncentre.co.uk or call us on 01772 555925.
