Sat 28 Sept, GSK Sports Complex, Ulverston
The first cross country event of the 2019/20 is on Sat 28th Sept at Ulverston. Numbers will be given out on the day from the club tent. All runners must have renewed their club membership and be England Athletics (EA) registered. All new runners should bring their EA registration number if they are competing for the first time at cross country, or haven’t run for several years. This does not apply to under 11s.
Please arrive early in good time to collect your number.
The race times are all earlier than in previous seasons.
12pm – U11 girls
12.15pm – U11 boys
12.30pm – U13 girls
12.50pm – U13 boys & U15 girls
1.10pm – U15 boys & U17 women
1.30pm – U17 men , junior, senior and vet women and vet 70 men
2.15 pm – Junior, senior and vet men.
Directions- M6 north to junc 36. Follow the A590 following signs for Barrow, until you approach Ulverston. Straight on at the first roundabout (Booths on your left) and then take next road left after Ulverston Canal, North Lonsdale Road. Continue to the junction, turn left and approach the roundabout. The sports complex is straight over the roundabout (2nd exit) and there is plenty of car parking. Near the field is officials parking only. Usually, the route off the main road is signposted to the venue.
