Podium 5K Road Race
Sat 14 March 2020, Barrowford Andy Benson, Jack Dee-Ingham and Tiarnan Crorken lined up in the A race at the popular Podium 5k, with Benson first to cross the line in 10th position in a time of 15:05. Juniors Dee-Ingham (15:13) and Crorken (15:31) weren’t far behind, finishing 15th and 23rd respectively. Five harriers competed in the B race with Scarlett Sutton (19:27) and Grace Brown (19:39) finishing 2nd and 3rd in the women’s category, whilst Billy Reid finished 6th overal

What was the first British Championship fell race of the season last weekend, Ras yr Aran, is now likely have been one of the last races to be held for some time because of the Coronavirus outbreak. British Masters Indoor Championship

Five Preston Harrier athletes took the long journey down to Enfield, London, to compete in these championships held at Lee Valley Athletics Centre – Sharon Wilkinson, Carol Holt, Alan Appleby, Steve Hallas and Steve Smith. Bolton 5K Road Race
Sun 15 March, Bolton There was a great turnout from Preston Harriers in what could be their final meeting for a while at the Bolton 5k. With social lives and events hitting pause for the short term future, 15 Harriers made the journey across to run the new, flat course at Bolton 5k. Mid Lancs Cross Country Lancaster

For the final fixture of the Mid Lancs cross country league season, there was a return to Rylands Park, Lancaster. The conditions were blustery, with the winds increasing in intensity through the day. Surprisingly, it was not as muddy as was expected and the courses were firm and didn`t churn up. Harriers on the move to help others
All members of Preston Harriers are invited to participate in an initiative to help the Foxton Centre. We would like you to run, walk or cycle ( or go by car if you must) to 1 of our collection points to drop off your donations and we will ensure they are all taken to the Foxton Centre in Preston.
